Add the quinoa and water to a small pot. Season with salt. Bring to a boiluncovered.
Reduce heat so the water bubbles gentlynot vigorously. Cover, and cook for 8 minutes.
Remove the pot from the heatand slip a cloth towel between the lid and the pot. Cover, and let sit for at least 10 minutes, or until until ready to eat. Fluff with a fork before serving.
