This is a great recipe that I used last summer with much success! I love that you added pistachios too - must try that sometime!

Thank You! I just bought some at our market on a whim and you have saved me from a frantic internet search to justify my purchase! Pesto with pasta is on for dinner tonight!

Emily

Could I substitute green garlic?

I haven't seen scapes yet but I can't wait. I love the taste, but also they are so funny looking they just make me happy. Pesto sounds great: I wonder if it freezes well.

Mmm. I made this over the weekend - using almonds - it was amazing spread on bread one night, and over pasta the next. (I added in some butter when we tossed it with the pasta.) And there's more! Thanks for the recipe!

Garlic scapes were new to me last year as well. But I'll be getting them for at least another month in my CSA boxes; so thanks for the great tip! I love them in my frittatas this time of year, as well. (Fritatas? Well, either way, that looks wrong!)
